What Do The Best Have To Say?
Mick Fitzsimons - 8x All-Ireland Winner
"As a young player joining the Dublin Football panel, with little to no experience in the gym, Sami immediately made me feel welcome. He looked after all players equally, irrespective of where you fell in the pecking order, aiming to help each progress and achieve their goals. His expertise, energy and drive helped me progress hugely as a player. Our team benefited even more, in the years under his care, by winning our first All-Ireland in 2011. His knowledge, coaching, and accessible and driven personality were key factors in our success and any team/individual would benefit from him on their side."
Josh van der Flier - Ireland & Leinster Rugby
"I can honestly say my career would not have progressed the way it has without the work of Sami. For my first 2 years out of school, Sami looked after all my gym and fitness training. As well as being an absolute gentleman his knowledge and ability to coach helped me to develop from a schoolboy into someone who was ready to play professional rugby. I worked with Sami throughout the Leinster academy where he developed me technically and physically to get the most out of my body, this crucial time in my career prepared me for progression to the first team and international rugby.
Sami’s passion for improving us as athletes and wanting to make us as good as we could be infectious. It made me better and always got me pumped up to get to work. I can’t speak highly enough of Sami as a coach and more importantly a person."
Daniel Davey - Dublin GAA & Leinster Rugby
Founder of Davey Nutrition
"When you work in elite sport you are fortunate to not only work with great athletes but also great coaches. Sami Dowling is one of those excellent coaches. The reason I would personally call someone a great coach is not just about technical expertise but a holistic view of physical and mental health. Sami has that 360-degree perspective of a person’s well-being as willing to invest the time and effort to make sure a person understands each component of fitness and well-being.
That is something that goes far beyond writing a program or teaching technical skills. Sami also has a natural ability to motivate the people around him through his own behaviors and work ethic. Sami is someone that is technically excellent at what he does but it’s his care and interest in the people he works with that really separates him and makes him so good at what he does."
Our next group starts their program on January 9th!
